Eric, I just stopped by to let you know the code was left in the Buckminster Fuller page so it's not working optimally.

That was very interesting.. don't think I've met too many people who have those kind of opinions... and the difference between humans and cyborgs is that we feel things physical, emotional, and spiritual... nice page..

I don't know if I believe in everything you've put forth. It's a lot to take in. But, I do know that it's the most serious and important group of ideas I've seen on the internet about the internet. I've posted part of a novel on my website, http://members.tripod.com/~BarrieE/index.html, that deals with an individual who, I believe, is half in the digital world and half trying to figure out why the warrior-poet doesn't fit in to industrial society. Thanks!

Does anyone know the Book "Cyber City" from Greg Egan (Australia)? It's a few years old SciFi-Story, but even absolutely great. Goes a few steps more forward (far away!) as the Ideas&Theories of the Extropians!

Very interesting zine. Thought-provoking. I am suprised that I was very nervous about the idea of your feminine alter-ego. I am not sure why this unnerves me, I don't think it has anything to do with sexual predation either. Maybe I feel that women have some secrets still and they, as information, give us power. Yes, and also that if men could do everything we can do they wouldn't need us, and being needed gives us power as well. Also, there's the trendy myth of women as somehow nobler, more spiritual, in closer harmony with nature and themselves, etc... I call it the "Goddess syndrome" and I think that men posing as women could attempt to discredit this myth in a way that would be vindictive. I don't believe the myth, I know that I',m no more noble than any other animal. I guess the fear is that if we're no better, why have feminism - which I admit sounds pretty irrational! Thanks again, I'll look forward to returning.

I only read the Privacy article. Much food for thought. Have you considered including lucid arguments opposing your own ideas? (Just a thought) Keet it up. Love.
