The Mexican government has undertaken a campaign of genocide against the indigenous people of Chiapas, in southeast Mexico. Using U.S. trained mercenaries, with U.S. economic and political support, Mexico's federal army terrorizes the people of Chiapas, while the U.S. media turns a blind eye. Human rights violations, torture, rape and murder have been reported by many international observers, community leaders arrested, food supplies contaminated, entire villages destroyed.
